History

Our research has shown that The Bugle which is now a grade II listed building dates back to the 1300’s and has served the village of Hamble as many functions over the years including the Ferry House and local 'Cab for Hire' in the 1800's before turning into the Village Inn from the late 1800's onwards.

This beautiful building has stood the test of time and now offers all that visit a real sense of local history.
