The Bugle in Hamble is awarded an AA Rosette for its exceptional dining

 The Bugle in Hamble has just been awarded a Rosette by the AA for its food, making it the first and only venue in Hamble to receive such an accolade. 

The gastro pub has delighted locals and visitors to Hamble with its first class food, and now The Bugle team is delighted to be leading the way locally with its food and pub hospitality.

The AA rosette recognises restaurants that, “Achieve standards that stand out in their local area, serving food prepared with care, understanding and skill, using good quality ingredients.” 

Jim Hayward, Executive Chef said, “The team and I are over the moon and delighted that all the hard work, skilful cooking and careful selection of local ingredients has paid off.

It is great news for Hamble and Southampton to have such quality venues to shout about.”

This historic grade II listed building has been restored using traditional materials and methods and includes such features as natural flagstone floors, a solid oak bar and woodburning stoves.
In addition to the pub, there's a dedicated dining area inside, and outside our terrace is a great place to enjoy lunch & a drink in warmer weather. Upstairs there's a private room "The Captain's Table", which is available to book for private dinner parties & special occasions.

The Bugle serves top quality food and drink in a relaxed and informal atmosphere and has well & truly re-established its place back in the heart of village life. The delicious seasonal food menu uses fresh, quality ingredients & local produce. There's also a chalked up "specials board" offering fresh seafood specialities & other home-made dishes.
